This website has been designed with the intention that the user is able to come away being more knowlegable about different types of theme gardens. It is intended as a guide for everyone who would like to know about the different styles of gardens, as a muse for those planning on cultivating a theme garden, and as a reference of basic information.

Specific styles of theme gardens exist and have rules and guidelines that must be applied for them to fall under a certain category. This is not to say that you cannot be the creator of a completely original and new theme. When planting and designing a new theme, whether it’s a tribute to god, a state of mind, or yourself, be creative and take the time to make sure it exemplifies what you want it to represent. Being creative is key to the success of your garden and you will be much happier with a design that means something.
